She is at High Point Christian Academy, and I could not be happier with that choice. In-case you were wondering, no I do not have a problem with public schools, I just have a problem sending MY children to public school. It is no offense to you, I promise.
Well, she did great. Made a hand-print, ate lunch, took a "rest", checked out a library book, had a snack, listened to a story, then called it a day. She says she loves school and is making new friends.
Day two did present some drama. She didn't have time to finish her lunch, but that could be due to the fact that I sent her way too much. You know us Kindergarten moms, always over-prepared. She also had a run in with a girl afterschool (a 6 year-old) who called her "annoying". Bless her heart.
